Yesterday was St. Patrick’s Day, and for a moment in the afternoon, it felt like Ireland here in Ventura County. That band of brief light rain was the last we’ll see for a while, as a warming and drying trend begins.
Fabulous weather is in store today as a high-pressure ridge builds into the region. It looks like a Santa Ana pattern will try to develop tomorrow, but with only weak surface gradients and a lack of any other support, it won’t be very strong at all.
Long-range models show no rain anywhere in the forecast, only clear skies and warming temperatures as we push towards spring.
