First Look Forecast – Thu 3/20

Spring is here!  The equinox occurred early this morning at 2:01 a.m.  At that moment, for an instant, Earth’s axis is neither tilted toward nor away from the Sun, causing roughly an equal amount of sunlight and dark hours at all latitudes.

The weather will oblige the new season, as the storm track remains well to the north.  The weather here in Southern California will remain quite nice, despite a series of low-pressure systems passing to the north.  The only impacts felt down in Southern California will be a few degrees of cooling through this weekend and some breezy/gusty conditions at times.

Skies remain clear with no hint of rain anywhere in the extended forecast.  In fact, we’re tracking what could be a big warm-up for the first part of next week.  Stay tuned.
