First Look Forecast – Wed 3/26

A strong low-pressure system spins off the Pacific Northwest, further strengthening onshore flow and significantly cooling the inland areas of Southern California.

Extensive low clouds and fog have formed overnight, and drizzle is likely in some places as a heavy marine layer has set in.  Expect some wet road surfaces this morning.

The low pressure and strong onshore flow will likely keep skies mostly cloudy today.  Where yesterday we saw temperatures in the 80s, highs will struggle to reach 70.

As the center of the low drifts south, the gradual cooling trend will continue.  Highs in Camarillo should only hit the mid-60s this weekend, and the cloud cover pattern of morning low clouds and fog followed by partial clearing should continue through into next week.
