First Look Forecast – Mon 3/10

We have one final day of pleasant weather before a series of storms moves through the area.  Only a few degrees cooler as high pressure has already begun to shift to the east ahead of storm #1, currently positioned about 550 miles west-southwest of Ventura County.  The day should be mostly sunny, with maybe some additional clouds building as the low approaches tonight.  The track of the low has shifted slightly to the north, which doesn’t change much.  We have better chances for rain, but amounts remain light – likely under one-tenth of an inch here in Ventura County.

Tuesday should remain dry after storm #1 clears out during the morning hours.  Storm #2, scheduled for Wednesday night, is expected to be much more impactful.  I’ll be discussing this storm in detail later this afternoon.
